I played on Iceland Airwaves festival last thursday, great gig. Good crowed and alot of good music going on.

Panoramix an alter ego of Orang Volante, opened it up with some authentic dub, then it was my turn. My set included dubstep and drum´n bass and the crowed responded well. Next up was the young and promising Hypno, he delivered a solid set of dubstep tunes. Raychem took charge of the floor with pounding drum´n bass as usual. Then  Muted presented the crowed with some deep atmospheric drum´n bass and finally Kalli and Ewok worked the decks as expected.  But before they finished I left to catch up on some much needed sleep that I had seriously neglected the whole week.

I really enjoyed playing this year, wish I had some more time to prepair the set, but it worked out despite the occasional fuck up.  The plan was to record my set but the sound guy accidently unplugged the recorder when changing the main mixer between panoramix set and my set. Maybe one of these days I will run through it and record it .

I am working on a remix of Herberts Guðmundsson 80´s classic “Can´t Walk Away” for the radio show PartyZone, it´s a remix session with dozen of artist involved making their mark on this classic track. It will hopefully be ready next weekend, then I will put a link to it here.
In other news it is very likely that Counter Intelligence will release one or maybe two of my tracks in the coming months. The Masters are ready but i´am waiting for feedback on them before I send it to them.
Also I have this idea for a mix, that I was going to do for a dj contest held by Flex, another radio show here in Iceland. Hopefully that will be up here soon.

Breakbeat.is and Iceland Airwaves host a drum and bass night on the 15.october. And I will play my recent stuff in mix with some older gems. I will open  up at 21:30, so be there early! The line up is:

I was interviewed on the breakbeat.is radio show last night and played a recording of my set on Airwaves ´07(Check out the radio program here) and I think this is going to be one hell of a night for drum and bass fans in Iceland.  Don´t miss it!

Soon I will open the dubminimal netlabel at www.dubminimal.net. At first it was to be for my own music but then I decided to release other peoples music as well. The focus will be on electronic music but every genre is welcome. All releases wil be in mp3 format and at 320kbs and under a Creative Commons licence, not sure when this will happen but I am still working on the site it self. But until then you can get all the info here. I will start accepting demos when the site is up and running, hopefully before autumn.
