Giving away this tune in 320kbs. It´s a mellow electronic tune with some “IDM” flavours. Hope you like it. The chords used in this tune were just random notes recorded of my controller……. hence the title.

Subminimal – Random Chords

There´s been alot of great remix competition´s in drum and bass lately. And now Knowledge and Shogun audioare teaming up. The tune is Icicle´s “Time to remember”.

This is my biggest fan, my daughter dancing to my tune Subcode. She is obviosly into drum´n bass like her dad and knows a quality tune when she hears one. This is fun to watch.

My dubstep tune “Breaking it in” is now on youtube, just for fun. I created the “plasma smoke thing” in photoshop, kinda like it. Would look real good on my studio wall. Maybe it´s time to decorate.

This is my entry for Bop – Enjoy the moment remix competition. pushed the song down 3 semitones and recreated most of the samples insted of using them, but I used some noiseFX and glitch samples from the original tune. If you wanna hear the original tune click HERE!

I played on Iceland Airwaves festival last thursday, great gig. Good crowed and alot of good music going on.

Panoramix an alter ego of Orang Volante, opened it up with some authentic dub, then it was my turn. My set included dubstep and drum´n bass and the crowed responded well. Next up was the young and promising Hypno, he delivered a solid set of dubstep tunes. Raychem took charge of the floor with pounding drum´n bass as usual. Then  Muted presented the crowed with some deep atmospheric drum´n bass and finally Kalli and Ewok worked the decks as expected.  But before they finished I left to catch up on some much needed sleep that I had seriously neglected the whole week.

I really enjoyed playing this year, wish I had some more time to prepair the set, but it worked out despite the occasional fuck up.  The plan was to record my set but the sound guy accidently unplugged the recorder when changing the main mixer between panoramix set and my set. Maybe one of these days I will run through it and record it .
